Swedish shouldn’t be too hard for you to work out? I more or less understand Danish although it gets hard with people from Jylland.

I just stumbled on your site today and I have to say that I totally love the design on here! It’s refreshing to see such originality, especially on a blog. I wish I had your graphic design skills.

Apart from that I wanted to tell you that Apple have recently released a public beta of Safari for Windows, albeit a horribly broken one. It randomly refuses to do things like rendering bold and italic text on my computer, for example, although it’s still better than nothing for testing for compatibility with the OSX version. We’ll hopefully be seeing a production release in a few months…

On a side note, I think at least one of the reasons so many of your users are sticking with Internet Explorer 6 is that Microsoft won’t allow users of “unofficial” copies of Windows to upgrade to IE7. I wouldn’t be surprised if some legitimate customers were prevented from upgrading as well! That’s no excuse not to use Firefox, though.

Now that I’m rambling about Microsoft, did you consider using an image without alpha transparency to achieve the shadow effect on the right side of the page? You would then basically include both the shadow effect and the background in the same image. It shouldn’t be too difficult to implement with some creative coding!
